I’m still getting used to not living on a school calendar, and especially to being on a southern hemisphere cycle. This past week has been a wonderful summer vacation and celebration of Christmas though. I love summer Christmas.
Honestly, I haven’t got much more to say than that.
Oh, except the botox has continued to be brilliant!
Genuinely a highlight for me right now, and I can’t tell you what a game changer this is to not be constantly worried about my bladder failures. It’s been over a week since I’ve been to the spinal hospital, so I’m heading back on Monday for another scan before meeting with the spinal doctor early in January. While a stream of SCI appointments isn’t the most relaxing thing, I am enjoying the breather before launching into 2025. I’ve got a lot of awesome lined up, and I’m excited for what God is doing, but this week is an important reflection point to celebrate all that God has done in and through me this year.
For me the biggest celebration is a whole calendar year in New Zealand – August marked my one year since arriving, and I also hit one year in this house. What a cool gift to put down roots in this place.
