For those of you praying along with me for miracles these forty days, please read aloud this Psalm with my name and ask God to reveal new feeling and function in my body.
Psalm 91 (NIV)
Laura who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Laura will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Surely he will save Laura from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover Laura with his feathers, and under his wings she will find refuge; his faithfulness will be Laura’s shield and rampart.
Laura will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at Laura’s side, ten thousand at her right hand, but it will not come near her.
Laura will only observe with her eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
If Laura says, “The Lord is my refuge,” and she makes the Most High her dwelling,
no harm will overtake her, no disaster will come near her tent.
For he will command his angels concerning Laura to guard her in all her ways;
they will lift her up in their hands, so that she will not strike her foot against a stone.
Laura will tread on the lion and the cobra; Laura will trample the great lion and the serpent.
“Because Laura loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue her; I will protect her, for she acknowledges my name.
Laura will call on me, and I will answer her; I will be with her in trouble, I will deliver her and honor her.
With long life I will satisfy Laura and show her my salvation.”
