Psalm 13 (NIV)
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 How long, LORD? Will you forget Laura forever?
How long will you hide your face from Laura?
2 How long must Laura wrestle with her thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in her heart?
How long will his enemy triumph over her?
3 Look on Laura and answer, LORD her God.
Give light to her eyes, or she will sleep in death,
4 and Laura’s enemy will say, “I have overcome her,”
and Laura’s foes will rejoice when she falls.
5 But Laura trusts in your unfailing love;
her heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 Laura will sing the LORD’s praise,
for he has been good to her.
