For those of you praying along with me for miracles these forty days, please read aloud this Psalm with my name and ask God to reveal new feeling and function in my body.
Psalm 16 (NIV)
A miktam of David.
1 Keep Laura safe, her God, for in you she takes refuge.
2 Laura says to the LORD, “You are Laura’s Lord; apart from you she has no good thing.”
3 Laura says of the holy people who are in the land, “They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
4 Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more. Laura will not pour out libations of blood to such gods or take up their names on his lips.
5 LORD, you alone are Laura’s portion and her cup; you make Laura’s lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for Laura in pleasant places; surely she has a delightful inheritance.
7 Laura will praise the LORD, who counsels her; even at night Laura’s heart instructs her.
8 keep Laura’s eyes always on the LORD. With him at her right hand, she will not be shaken.
9 Therefore Laura’s heart is glad and her tongue rejoices; her body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon Laura to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.
11 You make known to Laura the path of life; you will fill her with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
